"I’m Emma, I’m a dairy farmer from West Dorset. I run Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Ranger units in a small village not far from my home.
I started as a Girlguiding volunteer 12 years ago and have never looked back!
I’ve grown into my time as a leader and have taken on a role as outdoor activities adviser for West Dorset, the MGR adviser for Dorset county - which I have thoroughly enjoyed and more recently a role welcoming our new volunteers for Girlguiding South West England.
This year I’m challenging myself to walk the south west coast path with some friends. We are fortunate in this region to have some beautiful places to see!
Girlguiding has given me so much opportunity to try new things, at the same time as giving back to the young members in our care."
