We are thrilled to release our World Thinking Day Resource for 2026!
This year our resource pack is celebrating the 100th year of World Thinking Day. We have prepared 100 activities for you to enjoy in your units, districts, divisions, counties and islands.
The resource pack is divided into 4 areas, each with 25 activities.
These are:
Our Guiding and Girl Scouting friends – activities that will enable us to learn and enjoy crafts, food, dance and play from other countries where girls are part of WAGGGS.
Promise and Law – a range of activities that will encourage us to think about the promise and law and how we can bring them to life.
Friendship – activities that will help us to be a friend to each other, our local community and the world.
Personal challenge – we asked our Ambassadors, Chief Team, Youth Voice and Participation team including Spark, and some of our Lead Volunteers to come up with some ideas for personal challenge.
Whilst this resource is focused on World Thinking Day, international guiding is part of who we are, and we hope that you will be able to dip in to the activities over the year to come. There are no requirements to complete a certain number of activities to achieve the badge. We encourage you to help girls choose activities from each section.
