We're holding a support and training day for Young Leaders, and we'd love to see you there!
Come and find out about the new Young Leader Development Programme (YLPD), discover what it offers young members and how units can support them. For Young Leaders, there will be a chance to speak with region volunteers for advice, see where you fit into the organisation, spend time with other Young Leaders from across the region and to complete some elements of the following modules:

Connecting your community
Leaders can also attend as we will be running workshops to discuss how to support Young Leaders in the training, discussing how young leaders can work within units and how to work as a team to plan activities.
Who can come:
Any young member can join us as long as they are aged 14 or over. Any adult volunteer can join us. Whilst girls aged 14 years or over can attend the training independently, adults are encouraged to join the day, whether they have girls joining us or not, so that they can understand the programme and work with the girls present to explore the best ways young leaders can become part of their unit team. if you’d like to do the young leader development programme as well as the young leader qualification, go ahead! You can use some of what you have done in the young leader qualification towards parts of the young leader development programme.
