We are so excited to welcome Lorna as our newest ambassador.
Lorna is a performance artist who makes work for the outdoors. She tours all over the UK and abroad and has performed everywhere from an extinct volcano in Catalonia, a multistorey carpark in Warrington to an ex-military site in South Korea. She trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and directs, makes music and writes. She also loves pop music, women’s history, costume and dressing up.
Lorna is particularly interested in Earth Sciences - especially clouds, rocks and trees, and she makes her art about all of these things. She is an environmental campaigner and is an advocate for women’s and LGBTQ rights. Lorna lives in Dorset with her partner, two children and their dog and she is co-chair of Outdoor Arts UK.
Lorna was a Guide and a Ranger and she thinks that it’s part of the reason that she loves the outdoors so very much.
