We are so excited to welcome Dodgeball coach Lauren as our newest ambassador.
Lauren says,
'Hi, I'm Lauren and I'm a Level 2 Dodgeball coach from Devon. I've been playing dodgeball for 3 years gained my Level 2 Dodgeball qualification July 2023. From a young age I've always done sports that are mainly male-orientated but always want more women to get involved.
I've been in Girlguiding myself since I was 5 and due to the incredible leaders, I realised that I am capable of anything, I would now love to give back. Alongside being a Guide leader, it would be great to encourage more girls and leaders to get into sport. Just like Girlguiding, sport builds resilience and teamwork.
I'm very excited to be joining the Girlguiding South West England ambassador scheme, I can’t wait to be able to come into your units, events and start teaching dodgeball skills and letting the girls get creative.'
