We were really excited that our region ambassador Christelle travelled across the water to visit Jersey last weekend to meet with many young members and members for a fun filled day of football.
This event gave our young members the opportunity to learn all about the sport, try out some new ball skills, meet new people, and meet our ambassador.
It didn't matter if you had never played football before- everyone was there to have fun and learn new skills. Christelle made everyone feel at ease and started with some basic skills all the way through to playing some games.
The weekend was FANTASTIC!! The young members that were there had a fabulous experience and the leaders who were involved are sure to use some of the techniques Christelle taught in their units.
Christelle was amazing her enthusiasm for football and coaching was brilliant.
You never know, this event might have just found the next lioness!
