We know that helping the planet is something that our young members care about. The activities in this resource bring together ideas from the programme and different sources to help girls learn how they can make their guiding activities more eco-friendly and encouraging them to get outdoors and into nature.
There are two sets of activities, one aimed at our younger members and the other for older girls, which have been made more challenging with opportunities to take some of the challenges further if this is what they choose to do. This is just a recomendation and all sections are welcome to complete any activity they think will suit their unit.
We hope that by completing this challenge our girls and young women will have fun, learn to love nature and be empowered to take positive action to protect our planet.
