2nd Okehampton Rainbows have enjoyed completing WTD activities, they made horses and had races in Mongolia, they loved making cookie towers and playing cookie games but the most exciting part was the cleaning up afterwards!!!

2nd Chard Guides and Rangers (with a couple of honorary brownies) had a fab day celebrating thinking day. They made flower crowns from the Ukraine, butterflies from Ghana and almond pithivier’s from France. The had a go at archery with chalked out targets and bean bags, elephant beatle, shamrock relay, voted on the new uniform and designed some ideas, wordsearches and a thinking day quiz. We also had a visit from the county president and had a promise ceremony. Lastly they presented their very first bronze award! A fab day was had!

"We had a busy evening building our skyscrapers from the Ivory Coast and cooking pancakes over our buddy burners from Canada. We ended our evening playing Cookie games too. the picture shows a Guide coiling corrugated cardboard into a tuna can, with waxed string lying by the side of the can to make a wick. They are making a buddy burner."
