Welcome to the Girlguiding South West England social media toolkit!

Girlguiding's Social Media Community Guidelines

Social media is an important part of today's world and it can be a powerful tool for Girlguiding. By using social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, you can reach out to potential members, keep current members informed and engaged, and promote your local events and activities.

Click here to find out about Girlguiding's community guidelines for using Social Media.

These templates have been created to help you make the most out of your social media presence and engage with your community online. It is a work in progress, and we will be adding more content all the time, so please do keep checking back for updates.
These templates are designed to help volunteers create social media posts and posters quickly and confidently, while using our brand correctly and consistently. Whether you’re promoting a local event, sharing information with your community, or celebrating guiding, these resources are here to save you time and effort.
All of the posts are fully editable, so you can make them your own. Add your unit name, district, division or county, swap the trefoil for your localised version, and replace the images with photos from your own unit or local area. Important: Please remember to update all editable details and include your county, district, division or unit name.

Whether you’re looking for new leaders, welcoming new volunteers or simply want to show your community how amazing volunteering with Girlguiding can be, we hope these templates make it quick, easy and fun to get your message out there!
We hope that these templates will be a valuable resource for you and your unit or group. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
