Welcome to the Girlguiding South West England social media toolkit! This toolkit has been created to help you make the most out of your social media presence and engage with your community online. It is a work in progress, and we will be adding more and more content all the time, so please do keep checking back for updates.
Social media is an important part of today's world and it can be a powerful tool for Girlguiding. By using social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, you can reach out to potential members, keep current members informed and engaged, and promote your local events and activities.
We've put together some sample posts that you can use to promote your Girlguiding events and activities on social media.
- Volunteer Recruitment Post: This post is designed to help you recruit volunteers for your Girlguiding unit or group.
- Member Recruitment Post This post is designed to help you recruit new members for your Girlguiding unit or group.
- Save the Date Post: This post is designed to help you promote an upcoming event or activity. It includes eye-catching graphics and a clear call-to-action encouraging people to save the date and attend the event.
- Thank You Post: This post is designed to help you show your appreciation for your members, volunteers, or supporters.
