"Hello I’m Kate, the lead volunteer for youth voice and participation! My guiding journey began early on in life as my mum was a Guide leader and took me to meetings and events. I then went through Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers before becoming a young leader and adult leader.
I’m also a peer educator and love being able to support young people with important topics this way. I have been a leader with Guides and Rangers and opened my own Rainbow unit last September! I joined the region team as the assistant lead volunteer for youth voice and participation before becoming the lead.
I have been to international women’s day events, set up the Spark network, run two Empower events, spoken at conferences and lots more!"
