I started my guiding Journey as a Brownie at 7 and never left! I love the outdoors and exploring and Girlguiding has given me the opportunities to enjoy both. As a young leader I gained my Gold Duke of Edinburgh award and was proud to wear my uniform to Buckingham palace to receive the award.
I took over a Guide unit at the age of 18 and not looked back, I now run a Guide and a Ranger unit and help out the local Brownie unit.
I have had several roles before becoming region Lead Volunteer for Residential including Division commissioner, LDP mentor, Division/County OAA and currently assistant county commissioner for Hampshire East.
Professionally I manage 3 Dyno Rod franchises across the south of England, I am able to share my knowledge, skills and experience of operational/strategic planning and people management to encourage all members to embrace all Girlguiding has to offer.
