I am delighted to be representing Girlguiding South West England. I have been a member of Girlguiding since Rainbows, continuing on through Brownies, Guides and Rangers. I have had the pleasure of volunteering with my current Brownie unit for the last 17 years, alongside some wonderful leaders. I also very much enjoy volunteering at events across Gloucestershire and beyond, spending time with fellow volunteers, and meeting new people.
I am passionate about Girlguiding, giving our members fantastic opportunities and ensuring their voices are heard. My Girlguiding ‘mountain top moment’ was celebrating World Thinking Day at Sangam World Centre (India) alongside friends old and new, including Pune Bharat Scouts and Guides. It was a wonderful reminder of how we’re part of something so much bigger, yet still united under the same promise.
When I’m not volunteering with Girlguiding I am a primary school teacher. My other passions include musical theatre, baking and craft.
