With the Region's volunteer roles there is something to suit everyone. There are lead roles and assistant roles; those which will demonstrate your admin and project management skills and those which are more practical; those which can be undertaken quietly in the background and those which require that you be seen and heard; whether you are new to Guiding or have been volunteering for years.
Consider a role that utilises the knowledge and expertise you have gained through your work, or try something new - something you might have been interested in exploring before, but didn't have the opportunity to do so. Holding a Region volunteer role will broaden your horizons both personally and professionally. You will gain experience and skills which will look great on your CV and you will meet new people and extend your personal contacts.
You will be surprised how flexible a Lead Volunteer role can be and we can help you fit it around your lifestyle and commitments. We will provide you with whatever support and training you feel you need and most expenses can be claimed.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, abilities, races, sexual orientations, socio-economic backgrounds and of all faiths or none. We are committed to making reasonable adjustments to support disabled volunteers and welcome all ages over 18.
