Trek to Lord Baden Powell Peak Nepal 7-23 December 2010
Girlguiding South West England in association with Safe Journeys Adventure Treks will be running a trek to Lord Baden Powell Peak in the Langtang region of Nepal from 7 to 23 December 2010. The Peak was named in honour of Lord Baden Powell in 2007 by the Nepal Government to mark the Scouts centenary. We believe that our trek will be a FIRST for any UK guide or scout group.
Are you interested in joining this trek? There are 12 places on each trek. If the December trek is oversubscribed an additional one can be arranged for 2011. The cost of the trek will be approximately £2300 (there may be small surcharges on flight prices in 2010). This includes:
£1490 trek fee including a pre-weekend training in the Scottish highlands (travel to/from Scotland is an additional cost)
£760 return flight
£50 Insurance
