Celebrate The Rainbows' 25th Birthday With Their New Resources!
The Region’s Rainbow Advisers have produced two exciting new resources to celebrate the Rainbows’ 25th Birthday. The Silver Jubilee edition of SWOOSH and the Celebration Challenge will be launched on Thinking Day and both will be available from our online shop either in a printed version or as a download.
The Celebration Challenge is colourful and fun and contains lots of great ideas to keep your Rainbows entertained. The birthday badge, which is shown here, is earned by completing at least two challenges from each of the three sections – the Diamond Jubilee Challenges, the Olympic Challenges, and the Rainbows’ 25th Birthday Challenges.
The Silver Jubilee edition of SWOOSH sees Olivia travelling to London and contains craft and puzzle ideas for the girls to complete either at their Unit Meeting or at home. It also has the words to the new verse of the Rainbow song which has been written by the Region’s Advisers. SWOOSH is available either in full colour or in black and white for the Rainbows to colour in for themselves.
In order to help recoup some of the design and artwork costs involved in producing these two great resources, it has been decided to charge a nominal sum for the download version. The full colour, printed version of SWOOSH will cost £3.00 plus postage and packing, or £2.00 to download either in colour or black and white. The printed version of the Celebration Challenge will cost £2.00 plus postage and packing, or £1.00 to download. The badges will cost £1.00 each.
